That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Sebati Haliloğlu succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After 13 minutes of play, Kırımgençlik's Aytek Tuğtekin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Çelikan Kamran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hilmi Hazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Çelikan Kamran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Kırımgençlik's Aytek Tuğtekin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Çelikan Kamran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Kırımgençlik's Aytek Tuğtekin got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sedat Hacısalihoğlu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Kırımgençlik's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Rahim İlker scored to the left of an out of position Günalp Berksu, making the score, 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Yalçın Balamir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kırımgençlik's supporters rose to their feet, but Yalçın Balamir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Çelikan Kamran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Günalp Berksu came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Candir's Müfit Başaydın. But to his dismay, Müfit Başaydın quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sacit Bağışhan was the one to do the kick off. Rahim İlker scored 4-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Günalp Berksu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Candir's Rahim İlker got a free kick in the 58th minute. Sacit Bağışhan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Kırımgençlik's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Sebati Haliloğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Aytek Tuğtekin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kırımgençlik's supporters rose to their feet, but Aytek Tuğtekin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Çelikan Kamran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sedat Hacısalihoğlu during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Candir getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Sedat Hacısalihoğlu hit a great ball. Yalçın Balamir charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yalçın Balamir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Kırımgençlik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yalçın Balamir to maneuver through the defense. Kutalp Ortunc was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 72 minutes in the game, Sacit Bağışhan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Çelikan Kamran having to interfere. Hilmi Hazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Günalp Berksu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Müfit Başaydın, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Rahim İlker took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Günalp Berksu. Günalp Berksu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. Günalp Berksu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sedat Hacısalihoğlu in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Candir's Arif Çelebi Vefik got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Candir players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
