Buca JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Savaşer Ünan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Çelikan Kamran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the last second Çelikan Kamran throw himself and got hold of the ball when Savaşer Ünan in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of Buca JK booed when Candir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selahaddin Satı didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ali Çağrı Oskay fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buca JK's protests and gave Ali Çağrı Oskay a yellow card for diving instead. When Müfit Başaydın came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Candir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Müfit Başaydın couldn't finish the play. If Savaşer Ünan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erkan Sidar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umut Mehdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Umut Mehdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Umut Mehdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umut Mehdi in the 35th minute of play forced Buca JK's goalkeeper Erkan Sidar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes Candir got a freekick which was hit by Sedat Hacısalihoğlu. Savaşer Ünan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çelikan Kamran having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Candir's Çelikan Kamran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savaşer Ünan in the 52nd minute of play. Tarık Özdal's late challenge caught a Candir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tarık Özdal helped the player get up and apologised. 56 minutes into the game, one of Buca JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kutalp Ortunc succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 57th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Müfit Başaydın managed to get in a good position for a shot. After some careless play in the Buca JK defense, Müfit Başaydın kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erkan Sidar. The Buca JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erkan Sidar should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Aydın Nafiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Çelikan Kamran was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. If Umut Mehdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Buca JK's Erkan Sidar got control of the ball when Müfit Başaydın tried to sneak it across the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Buca JK's goalkeeper Erkan Sidar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Müfit Başaydın. The Candir players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
