The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alemdar Remzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Çelikan Kamran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Candir's zone, Alemdar Remzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Çelikan Kamran came out of the goal and Alemdar Remzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Alemdar Remzi made a precise shot to the right of Çelikan Kamran. Candir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 12th match minute, Seleucia Pierra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Songurbey Naci to maneuver through the defense. Candir's Umut Mehdi got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Umut Mehdi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hurşit Sadik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Seleucia Pierra's goal looked a bit too open when Müfit Başaydın came free, but Hurşit Sadik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hurşit Sadik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Müfit Başaydın in the 20th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 31st minute when Umut Mehdi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Müfit Başaydın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Hurşit Sadik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Müfit Başaydın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candir's supporters rose to their feet, but Müfit Başaydın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hurşit Sadik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dilaver Türkdoğan to strike the kick off in the second half. Seleucia Pierra's Hurşit Sadik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Seleucia Pierra from getting a goal against them. Müfit Başaydın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Umut Mehdi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hurşit Sadik. That made the score 1-3 in the 72 minute of play. Hurşit Sadik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Umut Mehdi in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Müfit Başaydın managed to get in a good position for a shot.
