Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tuncer Devan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cesur Tekay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Süruri Özgeer firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mehmet Anıl Karin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Süruri Özgeer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Gökçen Ballı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bornova and the Orta FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bornova! In the 12th minute, Orta FK got a penalty, and Aygün Ulun placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Süruri Özgeer was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Bornova's Süruri Özgeer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Bornova from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Süruri Özgeer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bornova's Süruri Özgeer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel in the 38th minute of play. Ufuk İnanç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuncer Devan in the 40th minute of the match. Mehmet Anıl Karin might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Süruri Özgeer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Anıl Karin ran back to his position shaking his head. Süruri Özgeer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Anıl Karin in the 51st minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Süruri Özgeer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Süruri Özgeer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel in the 59th minute of play. When Kıraç Öksal fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bornova's protests and gave Kıraç Öksal a yellow card for diving instead. Kıraç Öksal kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Orta FK's Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel managed to work through Bornova's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Mehmet Anıl Karin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Süruri Özgeer having to interfere. Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Süruri Özgeer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Anıl Karin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Süruri Özgeer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel in the 74th minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Süruri Özgeer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Süruri Özgeer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Aziz Beşir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orta FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aziz Beşir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bornova's Süruri Özgeer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Anıl Karin in the 84th minute of play. Mehmet Anıl Karin might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Süruri Özgeer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmet Anıl Karin ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Süruri Özgeer having to make a save. If Ahmet Seyfi Çelikel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Onur Ali Belge struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Süruri Özgeer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orta FK. There was no doubt that Orta FK were the better team. Orta FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
