When Türker Zirve came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the LIONES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Türker Zirve couldn't finish the play. After having played for 29 minutes, Türker Zirve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIONES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Türker Zirve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alpay Derelioğlu made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ekrem Azim sent off a good shot on target. When Sezgin İklim fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fatih SK's protests and gave Sezgin İklim a yellow card for diving instead. Sezgin İklim kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Türker Zirve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vahap Kongar struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Uluç Sair didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LIONES. But to his dismay, Türker Zirve quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Türker Zirve managed to get in a good position for a shot. LIONES's supporters rose to their feet, but Türker Zirve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uluç Sair breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uluç Sair made an important save on a dangerous shot by Türker Zirve in the 65th minute. Alpay Derelioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamber İsiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Uluç Sair made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Türker Zirve sent off a good shot on target.
