If Tansu Piruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Varto's Coşkun Sunguralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tansu Piruz in the 26th minute of play. Ferhan Secaattin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eyüp Özker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferhan Secaattin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eyüp Özker in the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Tansu Piruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solhan FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tansu Piruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Refik Halit Unan kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Feyyaz Daman struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ferhan Secaattin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varto. Solhan FK's Ferhan Secaattin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eyüp Özker in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Varto's goalkeeper Coşkun Sunguralp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bilal Cansal. Bilal Cansal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th match minute, Varto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coşkun Akıncıbeyoğlu to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Eyüp Özker made the kick off in the second half. Coşkun Sunguralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürkan Kızılaslan in the 51st minute of play. Gürkan Kızılaslan's late challenge caught a Varto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gürkan Kızılaslan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Varto booed when Solhan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 82nd minute Tansu Piruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Coşkun Sunguralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
