Zaferspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Güzelyalı FK the free kick. Serter Hamurcu's late challenge caught a Güzelyalı FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serter Hamurcu helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Güzelyalı FK a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Erberk Tanju, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zaferspor's Şahin Kutsan. 1-2. Güzelyalı FK played a much better game than Zaferspor and deserved their victory. The Zaferspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
