The crowd rose to their feet as ALAPLI FC's Cihat Sedat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tolunay Hicran. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. Yıldırım Taymaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturay Parskan having to interfere. Baturay Parskan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinçer Gündeş, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute.
