Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Haşim Rakim started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alsancak's Bahattin Orcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykan Gazel in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Arif Buğra Sururi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gemerek's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Buğra Sururi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahattin Orcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aykan Gazel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahattin Orcan having to interfere. Bahattin Orcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Buğra Sururi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arif Buğra Sururi came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Gemerek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Buğra Sururi couldn't finish the play. Bahattin Orcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aykan Gazel in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Alsancak's zone, Arif Buğra Sururi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahattin Orcan came out of the goal and Arif Buğra Sururi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uğuralp Tekcan during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 21 minutes into the game, one of Alsancak:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 27 minutes into the match, Gemerek's goal looked a bit too open when Haşim Rakim came free, but Kerimhan Altunay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Arif Buğra Sururi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahattin Orcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerimhan Altunay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haşim Rakim, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Haşim Rakim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arif Buğra Sururi made a kick off. The supporters of Gemerek booed when Alsancak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fadıl Semi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Musa Özerhan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bahattin Orcan. That made the score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play. After 59 minutes of play Gemerek's Ertaç Akdamar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Gemerek's Ertaç Akdamar got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 minutes of play, Alsancak's İlyas Uğuralp made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kerimhan Altunay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bahattin Orcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Buğra Sururi in the 70th minute of play. If Çelebi Aydemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Buğra Sururi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arif Buğra Sururi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 played minutes Gemerek's Arif Buğra Sururi stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Bahattin Orcan stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Alsancak of the goal. Gazanfer Özcan Cevval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bahattin Orcan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Gemerek played a much better game than Alsancak and deserved their victory. The Alsancak players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
