Melih Cevdet İsrafil made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Dinçer Gündeş sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the game, Zaid Tuğkun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cal FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caglar the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Cal FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Caglar:s goal. Cal FK:s Melih Cevdet İsrafil showed great skill when he stopped Burhan Ulunay:s penalty. After 17 minutes Cal FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Burhan Ulunay who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Çağrı Uygu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cal FK's Melih Cevdet İsrafil did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İsmail Orhun Bostancıoğlu in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tolunay Hicran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tolunay Hicran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökçe Ceri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinçer Gündeş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Caglar's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçe Ceri came free, but Tolunay Hicran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Caglar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinçer Gündeş to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İsmail Orhun Bostancıoğlu in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolunay Hicran saved Caglar from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinçer Gündeş got free with Melih Cevdet İsrafil in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Caglar's zone, İsmail Orhun Bostancıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolunay Hicran came out of the goal and İsmail Orhun Bostancıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yıldırım Taymaz to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes, Cal FK's Mehmet Çağrı Hicabi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tolunay Hicran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cal FK reached it. İsmail Orhun Bostancıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolunay Hicran having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Caglar's Koray Sökmener got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Yıldırım Taymaz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 66 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Melih Cevdet İsrafil was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tolunay Hicran didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Selim Yükselir kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Caglar's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçe Ceri came free, but Tolunay Hicran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Selim Yükselir hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Caglar's Tolunay Hicran got control of the ball when İsmail Orhun Bostancıoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yıldırım Taymaz struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Melih Cevdet İsrafil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caglar. Cal FK's Melih Cevdet İsrafil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinçer Gündeş in the 85th minute of play. Cal FK's Gökçe Ceri got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Cal FK getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mustafa Cumhur Aygüneş hit a great ball. Caglar's Dinçer Gündeş got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Cal FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cal FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
