The corner led Furnacer FC's Çağrı Yılkan to fire away a dangerous shot which Tolunay Hicran despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dinçer Gündeş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hüseyin Turan İçöz having to make a save. After 23 minutes, Yıldırım Taymaz made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Furnacer FC's Hüseyin Turan İçöz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Özen Turhan's late challenge caught a Caglar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caglar's Tolunay Hicran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fuat Çeliker in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Caglar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tolga Atlıoğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fuat Çeliker made a kick off. Hüseyin Turan İçöz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldırım Taymaz in the 52nd minute of the match.
