After a rather tough play, Diyarbakır C.F.'s Olcay Tecelli got a free kick in the 4th minute. Rahman Sarıdoğan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ataol Vahdettin's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Furkan Erçetin's late challenge caught a Aslan Kuvveti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Furkan Erçetin helped the player get up and apologised. Furkan Erçetin hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Aslan Kuvveti's Cihan Mengüç tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Diyarbakır C.F.'s Rahman Sarıdoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ataol Vahdettin in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Diyarbakır C.F. defense, Mücahit Orhun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rahman Sarıdoğan. The Diyarbakır C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rahman Sarıdoğan should have stopped the shot. If Ataol Vahdettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arın Ferhat Kabakçı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tunç Münir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ataol Vahdettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Arın Ferhat Kabakçı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ataol Vahdettin made a kick off. Sezer Aral struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Rahman Sarıdoğan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aslan Kuvveti. If Mücahit Orhun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mücahit Orhun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rahman Sarıdoğan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ataol Vahdettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sezer Aral charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sezer Aral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Aslan Kuvveti got a freekick which was hit by Sezer Aral. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mücahit Orhun in the 69th minute of play forced Diyarbakır C.F.'s goalkeeper Rahman Sarıdoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Ataol Vahdettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rahman Sarıdoğan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tunç Münir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarkan Sunullah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diyarbakır C.F.'s Tarkan Sunullah got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mücahit Orhun in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rahman Sarıdoğan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tarkan Sunullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arın Ferhat Kabakçı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tunç Münir having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Aslan Kuvveti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arın Ferhat Kabakçı fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tarkan Sunullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tunç Münir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aslan Kuvveti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diyarbakır C.F. the free kick. 98 minutes in the game Olcay Tecelli after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Tunç Münir. A very good opportunity. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
