Nejat Seyhun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Erdi Sabancı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Şenel Kurban recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cengiz Kornes. Şenel Kurban showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Halil Utku Esir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erdi Sabancı having to interfere. In the 37th minute of the match Celalettin Salur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erdi Sabancı skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Şenel Kurban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalfat Spor SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şenel Kurban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Karayazi getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Turgay Ergünay hit a great ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Nejat Seyhun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kalfat Spor SK's Erdi Sabancı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Kalfat Spor SK's goal looked a bit too open when Turgay Ergünay came free, but Erdi Sabancı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Güvenç Mücahit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karayazi's Cengiz Kornes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şenel Kurban in the 59th minute of play. Ahmet İlhan Şenalp kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Güvenç Mücahit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cengiz Kornes having to interfere. A collision led to Karayazi getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Turgay Ergünay hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şenel Kurban in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cengiz Kornes saved Karayazi from getting behind. The supporters of Kalfat Spor SK booed when Karayazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turgay Ergünay didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Şenel Kurban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Şenel Kurban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karayazi's Cengiz Kornes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Nejat Seyhun made a precise shot to the right of Erdi Sabancı. Kalfat Spor SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. If Nejat Seyhun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
