With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karhan Baran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Kenan Demirer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Hakkı Tonguç struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Karhan Baran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edirne. Karhan Baran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran Tayyip, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Edirne's Mustafa Namık Hanbeyi got a free kick in the 29th minute. Beylikova's Karhan Baran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Beylikova from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Kenan Demirer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kuddusî Hazlan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Baran Tayyip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edirne's supporters rose to their feet, but Baran Tayyip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karhan Baran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kenan Demirer was the one to do the kick off. Karhan Baran came out of the goal and Baran Tayyip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beylikova's Karhan Baran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baran Tayyip in the 74th minute of play. Ahmet Çağrı Dokuzer hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Mehmet Hakkı Tonguç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karhan Baran having to make a save. Baran Tayyip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Beylikova's zone, Mehmet Hakkı Tonguç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karhan Baran came out of the goal and Mehmet Hakkı Tonguç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
