The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Fırat Pektürk took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rasim Durusoy to make any attempt to save it. Mehmet Şefik Oral hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Rasim Durusoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fırat Pektürk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fırat Pektürk kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Saruhan Alkım fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasim Durusoy having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ataol Rukni to make the kick off. Ataol Rukni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Recep Talha Ökmen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Recep Talha Ökmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ataol Rukni, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Uzundere JK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
