Bilgehan Ünalmış made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferhan Albay in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamer Atlas in the 18th minute of play forced Seydisehir's goalkeeper Yağızhan Yalçuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Çelik Baturalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Servet Seyidhan's late challenge caught a KARS SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yağızhan Yalçuk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th match minute, Seydisehir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamuran Olgunay to maneuver through the defense. KARS SK's Ahmet Şenbay couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Seydisehir. 40 minutes into the game, Aycan Aktar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seydisehir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KARS SK the free kick. After 40 played minutes Seydisehir got a freekick which was hit by Aycan Aktar. 43 minutes into the match, Seydisehir's goal looked a bit too open when Çelik Baturalp came free, but Yağızhan Yalçuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ferhan Albay made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Çelik Baturalp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Yağızhan Yalçuk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Seydisehir booed when KARS SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burhan Yağızbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Seydisehir's zone, Tamer Atlas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yağızhan Yalçuk came out of the goal and Tamer Atlas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tamer Atlas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Yağızhan Yalçuk made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Çelik Baturalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. KARS SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Çelik Baturalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yağızhan Yalçuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KARS SK's Tamer Atlas got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yağızhan Yalçuk made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Ramiz Balbay sent off a good shot on target. After 84 played minutes KARS SK got a freekick which was hit by Ramiz Balbay. 91 minutes into the game, KARS SK's Tamer Atlas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yağızhan Yalçuk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The KARS SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KARS SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
