Yağızhan Yalçuk was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Karagümrük getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Derman Demircan hit a great ball. Rıfkı Tekke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Karagümrük's Rıfkı Tekke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yağızhan Yalçuk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Karagümrük's Bayındır Mehmet Temizcan got control of the ball when Ferhan Albay tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Servet Seyidhan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bayındır Mehmet Temizcan. Servet Seyidhan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ferhan Albay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seydisehir's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferhan Albay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayındır Mehmet Temizcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aykutalp Atasan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferhan Albay to make the kick off.
