The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 20 played minutes, Siirt's Selmi Ural shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ömer Rıza Bucuklu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Ömer Rıza Bucuklu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niyazi Yiğitcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Yağızalp Yalman took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Yasin Uyarel to make any attempt to save it. Hüsamettin İlcan's late challenge caught a Siirt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hüsamettin İlcan helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes MAK FK got a freekick which was hit by Hüsamettin İlcan. Siirt's Selmi Ural couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for MAK FK. Tayfur Baykal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Yasin Uyarel made a huge save. In the 48th minute Sermet Altın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ömer Rıza Bucuklu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 57 minutes, Aktaç Sertel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Siirt and the MAK FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Niyazi Yiğitcan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ömer Rıza Bucuklu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Sermet Altın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ömer Rıza Bucuklu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ömer Rıza Bucuklu was a little too slow when Niyazi Yiğitcan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-1. Niyazi Yiğitcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Niyazi Yiğitcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Siirt's supporters rose to their feet, but Niyazi Yiğitcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ömer Rıza Bucuklu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to MAK FK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Yağızalp Yalman hit a great ball. When Aktaç Sertel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. Aktaç Sertel kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
