Muhittin Sazak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Çelebi Akoğlu having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hayrullah Titiz got free with Ramiz Barın in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute Enver Engiay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çelebi Akoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Çelebi Akoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enver Engiay in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enver Engiay in the 31st minute of play forced Hozat's goalkeeper Çelebi Akoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Songur Gümüş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Songur Gümüş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enver Engiay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Çelebi Akoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Songur Gümüş was the one to do the kick off. If Muhittin Sazak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhittin Sazak struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Çelebi Akoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GÖZTEPE ARENA. Hozat's Çelebi Akoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Hozat from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mithat Keyhüsrev in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiz Barın saved GÖZTEPE ARENA from getting behind. Songur Gümüş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Hozat's goal looked a bit too open when Enver Engiay came free, but Çelebi Akoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enver Engiay might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Çelebi Akoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enver Engiay ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the game, Yetkin Kutlualp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hozat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GÖZTEPE ARENA the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Hozat:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GÖZTEPE ARENA:s goal. The goalkeeper, Çelebi Akoğlu, was totally fooled by GÖZTEPE ARENA's Sakut Refettin, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ramiz Barın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hayrullah Titiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Songur Gümüş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 99th minute, Hayrullah Titiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiz Barın was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Hozat's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
