In the 27th minute, Tarık Ağırtaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Feyyaz Temizcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yalvac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feyyaz Temizcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 2-1 became the score in the 30th minute when Tarık Ağırtaş elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Yalvac. Görkem Usum stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nejat Acunman. 2-2. Nejat Acunman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarık Ağırtaş in the 40th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tarık Ağırtaş to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Harun Semih in the 51st minute of play forced Yalvac's goalkeeper Okan Alp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Merinos's zone, Tarık Ağırtaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nejat Acunman came out of the goal and Tarık Ağırtaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Okan Alp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Kemal Asker, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Yalvac's Okan Alp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Kemal Asker in the 73rd minute of play. Merinos's Nejat Acunman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarık Ağırtaş in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, Merinos's Nejat Acunman got control of the ball when Feyyaz Temizcan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Merinos players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
