Ekmek Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Edip Yiğit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şahap Beyzade struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Nejat Acunman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekmek Spor. After 14 played minutes Ekmek Spor got a freekick which was hit by Nadir Usbay. In the 16th minute of the match Arif Nihat Harmanda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aşır Hürkan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aşır Hürkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behçet Suyurgal, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Şahap Beyzade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Nejat Acunman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Şahap Beyzade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ekmek Spor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ali Galip Özaltan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nejat Acunman having to interfere. Ekmek Spor's Aşır Hürkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ekmek Spor from getting a goal against them. Şahap Beyzade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Galip Özaltan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Mustafa Kemal Asker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aşır Hürkan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Yusuf Ziya Selçuk sped through Ekmek Spor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aşır Hürkan. Şahap Beyzade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nejat Acunman having to interfere. A hard shot by Nadir Usbay from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Nejat Acunman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Mustafa Kemal Asker fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merinos's protests and gave Mustafa Kemal Asker a yellow card for diving instead. Nejat Acunman was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nadir Usbay. Atak Bağış received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nejat Acunman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şahap Beyzade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ekmek Spor's Aşır Hürkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behçet Suyurgal in the 89th minute of play. Ali Galip Özaltan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ekmek Spor were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
