Şükrü Gerdaneri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aşır Nesim in the 4th minute of play forced Detroit FC's goalkeeper Vacid Korhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Aşır Nesim notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Detroit FC's Vacid Korhan. Vacid Korhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. yellowcanary's Bilal Beşer got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vacid Korhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bilal Beşer in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aşır Nesim in the 19th minute of play forced Detroit FC's goalkeeper Vacid Korhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Detroit FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mansur Pekalp to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bedri Özhan got free with Vacid Korhan in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Aşır Nesim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Detroit FC's Vacid Korhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Detroit FC from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute Samir Zirve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şakir Akşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakan Kamver shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Samir Zirve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Bilal Beşer made a precise shot to the right of Vacid Korhan. Detroit FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aşır Nesim made a kick off. If Şükrü Gerdaneri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vacid Korhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedri Özhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Aşır Nesim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vacid Korhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vacid Korhan came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by yellowcanary's Bilal Beşer. But to his dismay, Bilal Beşer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Bedri Özhan scored 4-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vacid Korhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vacid Korhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aşır Nesim in the 72nd minute of play. Detroit FC's Vacid Korhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuratay İnanır in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedri Özhan in the 85th minute of play forced Detroit FC's goalkeeper Vacid Korhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Detroit FC's Vacid Korhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aşır Nesim in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Nuratay İnanır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vacid Korhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bedri Özhan during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Bedri Özhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdulmelik Yaşer hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
