After 28 played minutes Yatagan got a freekick which was hit by Tolga Tümay. After 29 played minutes, Maslak's Uğur Sabit shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reis Atlıoğlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maslak reached it. Gökçe Abdulhakimoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yaşar Nuri Levent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. İlyas Tamerk charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Yatagan's Reis Atlıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayındır Gökkuşağı in the 37th minute of play. Orhan Özgen struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Reis Atlıoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maslak. If Bayındır Gökkuşağı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Volkan Uyaralp was the one to do the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökçe Abdulhakimoğlu couldn't finish the play. Yaşar Nuri Levent came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Yatagan's Gökçe Abdulhakimoğlu. But to his dismay, Gökçe Abdulhakimoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Maslak's zone, Gökçe Abdulhakimoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaşar Nuri Levent came out of the goal and Gökçe Abdulhakimoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reis Atlıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Gökkuşağı, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Özer Temirhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Yaşar Nuri Levent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Volkan Uyaralp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yaşar Nuri Levent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yatagan had won after a very even match.
