Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ali Kağan Safer kicked off to start the match. Yalvac FK's Sezen Sahadettin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Yalvac FK from getting a goal against them. After 9 played minutes Yalvac FK got a freekick which was hit by Doruk Kapsam. After 11 played minutes Yalvac FK got a freekick which was hit by Zühtü Alpman. After recieving a nice pass, Galatasaray's Tanju Erol tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray's zone, Ahmet Oğuz Özatay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdurrezzak Serdinç came out of the goal and Ahmet Oğuz Özatay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sezen Sahadettin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Kağan Safer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Yalvac FK's zone, Ali Kağan Safer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sezen Sahadettin came out of the goal and Ali Kağan Safer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 27 played minutes Yalvac FK got a freekick which was hit by Zühtü Alpman. After a rather tough play, Yalvac FK's Zühtü Alpman got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Tanju Erol sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yalvac FK's Sezen Sahadettin didn't even have to move. If Haluk Zoral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Ali Kağan Safer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Kağan Safer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sezen Sahadettin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fedai Osman fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasaray's protests and gave Fedai Osman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Fedai Osman got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Süleyman Uğuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Oğuz Özatay to make the kick off. Yalvac FK's Sezen Sahadettin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Kağan Safer in the 52nd minute of play. Ali Kağan Safer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Kağan Safer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sezen Sahadettin having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Süleyman Uğuralp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sezen Sahadettin was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Yalvac FK's Zühtü Alpman got a free kick in the 59th minute. Sezen Sahadettin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Kağan Safer in the 62nd minute of the match. Abdurrezzak Serdinç was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Haluk Zoral showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 64 minute of play. Sezen Sahadettin came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray's Ali Kağan Safer. But to his dismay, Ali Kağan Safer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 77th minute Süleyman Uğuralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezen Sahadettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Kağan Safer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zühtü Alpman fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yalvac FK's protests and gave Zühtü Alpman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when Yalvac FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zühtü Alpman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sezen Sahadettin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Süleyman Uğuralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Haluk Zoral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdurrezzak Serdinç having to interfere. Galatasaray were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Yalvac FK for a fine match.
