After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Süleyman Uğuralp took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Çetin Hilal. Çetin Hilal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. KANDAVA FC's Çetin Hilal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Kağan Safer in the 74th minute of play. Sedat Hacıahmetoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sedat Hacıahmetoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when KANDAVA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sedat Hacıahmetoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 minutes, Süleyman Uğuralp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray and the KANDAVA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Arkın Oker managed to get in a good position for a shot. KANDAVA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arkın Oker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdurrezzak Serdinç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Galatasaray's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
