Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nedim Güngör in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erdal Alyakut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 69 minutes, Abdulmelik Özbala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akdamar SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulmelik Özbala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Karan İdman Yurdu's Selim Şömel got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes Karan İdman Yurdu got a freekick which was hit by Selim Şömel. In the 74th match minute, Karan İdman Yurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Cengiz Sözen to maneuver through the defense. The Karan İdman Yurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erdal Alyakut should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Akdamar SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
