The supporters of Bayburt Spor FC booed when Kocaköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Danış Evvel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Bayburt Spor FC's İskender Onay broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halit Kadir in the 34th minute of play forced Bayburt Spor FC's goalkeeper Çakır Göktepe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Akif Özbil to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Bayburt Spor FC were awarded a corner. İskender Onay went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in İskender Onay almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kocaköy's Gafur Tanır did a great save. Feyyaz Gence's late challenge caught a Bayburt Spor FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feyyaz Gence helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Kocaköy got a freekick which was hit by Feyyaz Gence. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Akif Özbil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayburt Spor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Akif Özbil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gafur Tanır breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Çakır Göktepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halit Kadir in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kocaköy's Mehmet Arif Tokuzer got a free kick in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kocaköy's zone, Akif Özbil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gafur Tanır came out of the goal and Akif Özbil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Bayburt Spor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Halit Kadir came free, but Çakır Göktepe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gafur Tanır stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akif Özbil's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Halit Kadir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çakır Göktepe having to interfere. If Mecnun Sayılgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bayburt Spor FC's Çakır Göktepe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Bayburt Spor FC from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute Halit Kadir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çakır Göktepe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bayburt Spor FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Kocaköy had controlled the match.
