Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Doganyurt JK's İsmail Cem Özkut started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Saltuk İkram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Doganyurt JK got a freekick which was hit by Cüneyt Özal. 17 minutes into the game, one of Sirkeci:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. İsmail Cem Özkut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Abdullatif Uygun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdullatif Uygun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmail Cem Özkut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdullatif Uygun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsmail Cem Özkut in the 30th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Sirkeci's goal looked a bit too open when İsmail Cem Özkut came free, but Abdullatif Uygun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İsmail Cem Özkut might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdullatif Uygun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İsmail Cem Özkut ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, İsmail Cem Özkut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doganyurt JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Yavuzalp Özduru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsmail Cem Özkut in the 61st minute of play forced Sirkeci's goalkeeper Abdullatif Uygun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Sirkeci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cevat Öktüre to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Sirkeci's goal looked a bit too open when Cüneyt Özal came free, but Abdullatif Uygun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yavuzalp Özduru in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdullatif Uygun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Doganyurt JK booed when Sirkeci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aytekin Hafız didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Yavuzalp Özduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdullatif Uygun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsmail Cem Özkut, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 89 minutes of play Doganyurt JK's Saltuk İkram was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Saltuk İkram kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuzalp Özduru in the 92nd minute of play forced Sirkeci's goalkeeper Abdullatif Uygun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sirkeci's zone, İsmail Cem Özkut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdullatif Uygun came out of the goal and İsmail Cem Özkut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yavuzalp Özduru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Doganyurt JK were the better team. Doganyurt JK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
