Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Demirhan Seyfeddin started the match with the kick off. Ergin Çağaçar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürol Candar in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Demirhan Seyfeddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergin Çağaçar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Başar Erdönmez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ergin Çağaçar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kubilay Peyam. In the 15th minute, Gürol Candar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demirhan Seyfeddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ergin Çağaçar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Olcay Orkun Tekiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demirhan Seyfeddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergin Çağaçar having to interfere. Demirhan Seyfeddin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ergin Çağaçar made a huge save. 41 minutes into the game, Uygur Falcıoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HORSEUS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gelibolu FK the free kick. In the 41st minute, Uygur Falcıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Sedat Özpolat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Sedat Özpolat was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, HORSEUS FC's Egemen Haksever got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egemen Haksever in the 57th minute of play forced Gelibolu FK's goalkeeper Mesut Bilgetay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gürol Candar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. The supporters of HORSEUS FC booed when Gelibolu FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürol Candar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ergin Çağaçar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahir İldeniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ergin Çağaçar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olcay Orkun Tekiner in the 69th minute of the match. Gelibolu FK were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after HORSEUS FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bünyamin Salih took the corner. After having played for 77 minutes, Mahir İldeniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gelibolu FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mahir İldeniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Mahir İldeniz made a precise shot to the right of Ergin Çağaçar. HORSEUS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Gelibolu FK's Kubilay Peyam got a free kick in the 87th minute. Gelibolu FK's Demirhan Seyfeddin got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olcay Orkun Tekiner in the 95th minute of play forced HORSEUS FC's goalkeeper Ergin Çağaçar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gelibolu FK had won after a very even match.
