In the 5th minute Işıkalp Tavil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Affan Korur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halit Ünek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Arif Nasreddin in the 10th minute. After 14 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Hami Emek. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Erenay Kutlubay hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Aygün Tigin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Affan Korur skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Işıkalp Tavil managed to get in a good position for a shot. DumanSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Işıkalp Tavil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Affan Korur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cevahir Ortanca in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halit Ünek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Halit Ünek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Arif Nasreddin in the 23rd minute. DumanSPOR's Halit Ünek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save DumanSPOR from getting a goal against them. Mustafa Arif Nasreddin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Halit Ünek made a huge save. Galatasaray's Affan Korur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Işıkalp Tavil in the 34th minute of play. DumanSPOR's Halit Ünek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save DumanSPOR from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, DumanSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Cevahir Ortanca came free, but Halit Ünek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa Arif Nasreddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Ünek having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Işıkalp Tavil made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Işıkalp Tavil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Affan Korur, 0-1. In the 55th minute, Işıkalp Tavil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dündar Bilgiç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Affan Korur having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Mustafa Arif Nasreddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halit Ünek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halit Ünek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mustafa Arif Nasreddin went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
