Bektaş Ali Periz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Affan Korur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Affan Korur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demir Ceberut in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cengizhan Saffet to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Demir Ceberut came free, but Affan Korur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sezai Canıtez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Arif Nasreddin in the 38th minute. Cevahir Ortanca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cevahir Ortanca to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demir Ceberut couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Bektaş Ali Periz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sezai Canıtez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevahir Ortanca in the 70th minute of the match.
