A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alişan Sarif hit a great ball. Necip Fazıl Ferhat struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Affan Korur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BadurSpor. Mustafa Arif Nasreddin took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Songur Akel. Songur Akel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İshak Şafakoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Sedat Yumus. Galatasaray's Cevahir Ortanca got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Songur Akel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Bedrettin Ulutaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galatasaray's Affan Korur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İshak Şafakoğlu in the 72nd minute of play. Songur Akel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cevahir Ortanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Cevahir Ortanca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cevahir Ortanca got in the 93rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Songur Akel handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Cevahir Ortanca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Songur Akel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
