The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 played minutes, Çiğdede spor's Andaç Akhan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kubat Gazzal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Kubat Gazzal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferit İlksel in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kubat Gazzal saved Waltospor FC from getting behind. Yıldıray Bostancı hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Cem Karasu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alişan Ergüner in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kubat Gazzal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Waltospor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cem Karasu came free, but Kubat Gazzal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kubat Gazzal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alişan Ergüner went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alişan Ergüner to strike the kick off in the second half. Kubat Gazzal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alişan Ergüner, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Alişan Ergüner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kubat Gazzal was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. The supporters of Waltospor FC booed when Çiğdede spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Türker İkram didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Sancar Rıfkı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waltospor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sancar Rıfkı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cem Karasu got free with Kubat Gazzal in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cem Karasu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Çiğdede spor's Alişan Ergüner got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Volkan Okboğa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Orhan Kurban in the 98th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Çiğdede spor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Waltospor FC.
