Spectators: 7234 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Tolga Bican started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Beykoz1908 getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Agah Oğuzman hit a great ball. Gençlerbirliği FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emrullah Tezal in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Hakan Hanönü in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atay Özçelik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13thth minute of the game Tolga Bican who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gençlerbirliği FC's Atay Özçelik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gençlerbirliği FC's zone, Ahmet Hakan Hanönü stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atay Özçelik came out of the goal and Ahmet Hakan Hanönü tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agah Oğuzman during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gençlerbirliği FC booed when Beykoz1908 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agah Oğuzman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Emrah Turkay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Korkut Onursal made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Abdi Mehmet Aynacıoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Gençlerbirliği FC's Abdi Mehmet Aynacıoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 32 minutes, Mustafa Emrah Turkay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gençlerbirliği FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Emrah Turkay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 played minutes Gençlerbirliği FC got a freekick which was hit by Halim Karakaya. 40 minutes into the game, Beykoz1908's Ahmet Hakan Hanönü nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atay Özçelik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Gençlerbirliği FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Beykoz1908 were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Emrah Turkay to make the kick off. Ahmet Hakan Hanönü hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Ali Orhan Yoran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Hakan Hanönü recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Gençlerbirliği FC's Mustafa Emrah Turkay got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 75 minutes, Ahmet Kadri Eralkan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gençlerbirliği FC and the Beykoz1908 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmet Hakan Hanönü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atay Özçelik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolga Bican in the 80th minute of the match. Ahmet Hakan Hanönü could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Atay Özçelik made a huge save. Ahmet Hakan Hanönü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atay Özçelik having to interfere. Atay Özçelik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Hakan Hanönü went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Beykoz1908's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
