When Aktaç Kambay fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fenerbahce JK's protests and gave Aktaç Kambay a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes fenerbahce JK got a freekick which was hit by Aktaç Kambay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Emre Sefaaddin in the 13th minute of play forced fenerbahce JK's goalkeeper Batıkan Cankan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İsmail Orhun Tacir was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. fenerbahce JK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, Istinye's Fahri Urangu got control of the ball when İsmail Orhun Tacir tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when İsmail Orhun Tacir got free with Fahri Urangu in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, İsmail Orhun Tacir managed to get in a good position for a shot. fenerbahce JK's supporters rose to their feet, but İsmail Orhun Tacir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fahri Urangu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İsmail Orhun Tacir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fahri Urangu having to interfere. Doruk Özdeş kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sertaç Ocakoğlu in the 42nd minute of play forced Istinye's goalkeeper Fahri Urangu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sertaç Ocakoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fahri Urangu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. İsmail Orhun Tacir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Fahri Urangu when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gündüz Dürüst stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Istinye booed when fenerbahce JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baransel Kebir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sertaç Ocakoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fahri Urangu having to interfere. Istinye's Fahri Urangu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sertaç Ocakoğlu in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Istinye booed when fenerbahce JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özbek Beytekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the match Günay Boysel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Batıkan Cankan skillfully saved the ball. 71 minutes into the game, fenerbahce JK's Sertaç Ocakoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fahri Urangu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Aktaç Kambay kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, İsmail Orhun Tacir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fahri Urangu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When fenerbahce JK's İsmail Orhun Tacir in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. That made the score 2-1 after 93 minutes of play. fenerbahce JK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
