Polat Ekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Faruk Derviş having to interfere. Geyve SK's Ali Faruk Derviş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Gökalp Umurbey in the 13th minute of play. Ahmet Turan Aksakal kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atıf Dolunay in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aybek Deren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Geyve SK's zone, Hazar Şah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Faruk Derviş came out of the goal and Hazar Şah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Polat Ekin might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Faruk Derviş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Polat Ekin ran back to his position shaking his head. Hazar Şah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ali Faruk Derviş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Gökalp Umurbey's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. With his leg Ali Faruk Derviş managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Yağmurlu FC's Hazar Şah fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Hazar Şah came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Yağmurlu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hazar Şah couldn't finish the play. Görkem Nesip hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Aybek Deren came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Geyve SK's Fethi Semdin. But to his dismay, Fethi Semdin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tahsin Çakar to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Yağmurlu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Şefik Demirdelen to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Geyve SK's goal looked a bit too open when Polat Ekin came free, but Ali Faruk Derviş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Geyve SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hamit Tuğrul came free, but Ali Faruk Derviş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Yağmurlu FC fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Yağmurlu FC's Hazar Şah looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Polat Ekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Faruk Derviş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Polat Ekin in the 96th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Geyve SK's Gafur Ekvan got a free kick in the 97th minute. Yağmurlu FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
