The supporters of Van booed when Antalya FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reşit Timurcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Semail Erincer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but İlyas Tolga Yaruk made a huge save. When Rıza Cabir fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Van's protests and gave Rıza Cabir a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Antalya FK booed when Van was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rıza Cabir didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Yenal Arslanoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antalya FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yenal Arslanoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yakut Tardu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Baysal Muhsin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pekin Tokyüz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Yakut Tardu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yakut Tardu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abay Ulaş in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abay Ulaş in the 30th minute of play forced Van's goalkeeper Yakut Tardu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Van's Yakut Tardu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pekin Tokyüz in the 31st minute of play. Reşit Timurcan struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Yakut Tardu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antalya FK. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Yenal Arslanoğlu sped through Van's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yakut Tardu. Artaç Maksut was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Antalya FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, İlyas Tolga Yaruk, was totally fooled by Van's Hüsnü Elmacı, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Pekin Tokyüz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pekin Tokyüz struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Yakut Tardu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antalya FK. Yakut Tardu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yenal Arslanoğlu in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Göktuğ Yalkı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İlyas Tolga Yaruk. Antalya FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Göktuğ Yalkı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Ata Uran kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Rahmi Saadettin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but İlyas Tolga Yaruk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yakut Tardu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reşit Timurcan in the 70th minute of play. Göktuğ Yalkı hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Pekin Tokyüz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yakut Tardu, 2-4. In the 75th minute, Görkem Orkut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Görkem Orkut's late challenge caught a Van's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Görkem Orkut helped the player get up and apologised. Görkem Orkut hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute of the match Hüsnü Elmacı shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but İlyas Tolga Yaruk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Antalya FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pekin Tokyüz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antalya FK played a much better game than Van and deserved their victory. The Van players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
