After a defensive mix-up in Van's zone, Yenal Arslanoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yakut Tardu came out of the goal and Yenal Arslanoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th match minute, Van was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ünsal Huzur to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Antalya FK booed when Van was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ünsal Huzur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Abay Ulaş lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Yakut Tardu. 13 minutes into the game, Semail Erincer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Van's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Antalya FK the free kick. In the 14th minute, Abay Ulaş reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yakut Tardu. The goal made the score 2-0. Reşit Timurcan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Yakut Tardu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. İlyas Tolga Yaruk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berkin Paksu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Antalya FK's İlyas Tolga Yaruk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semail Erincer in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Antalya FK's Pekin Tokyüz made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yakut Tardu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 minutes of play Van's Semail Erincer was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Van's Semail Erincer got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to Antalya FK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Yenal Arslanoğlu hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Berkin Paksu made a precise shot to the right of İlyas Tolga Yaruk. Antalya FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Reşit Timurcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antalya FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Reşit Timurcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yakut Tardu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yakut Tardu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yenal Arslanoğlu in the 39th minute of play. Reşit Timurcan struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Yakut Tardu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antalya FK. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abay Ulaş made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Pekin Tokyüz made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Van's Yakut Tardu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mete Akpolat kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Van's goal looked a bit too open when Pekin Tokyüz came free, but Yakut Tardu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yenal Arslanoğlu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yakut Tardu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abay Ulaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakut Tardu having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Antalya FK's goal looked a bit too open when Baysal Muhsin came free, but İlyas Tolga Yaruk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yenal Arslanoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakut Tardu having to interfere. Reşit Timurcan might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yakut Tardu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reşit Timurcan ran back to his position shaking his head. After 94 played minutes Van got a freekick which was hit by Göktuğ Yalkı. Reşit Timurcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakut Tardu having to interfere. There was no doubt that Antalya FK were the better team. Antalya FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
