In the 11th minute Hacı Ali Aydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakut Tardu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gökhun Tanır's late challenge caught a Van's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Bilge Ünan in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yakut Tardu saved Van from getting behind. After 30 played minutes Sarigöl FK got a freekick which was hit by Hacı Ali Aydın. Yakut Tardu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Bilge Ünan in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Hacı Ali Aydın notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Van's Yakut Tardu. Yakut Tardu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
