Spectators: 6639 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Behiç Abdulhakimoğlu started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Taslicay's Ekber Sebih got control of the ball when Tolga Ökmen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bayram Saik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behiç Abdulhakimoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Raşit Ortaçgil was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Raşit Ortaçgil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erberk Kutam got free with Ekber Sebih in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th play minute Tolga Ökmen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ekber Sebih. 1-0. With a little luck, Taslicay's Ekber Sebih got control of the ball when Tolga Ökmen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 minutes, Kamil Türegün mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taslicay and the GALATASARAY players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kamil Türegün hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Bayram Saik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derviş Zühtü, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolga Ökmen got free with Ekber Sebih in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ekber Sebih was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Tolga Ökmen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tolga Ökmen really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Taslicay's goalkeeper Ekber Sebih had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tolga Ökmen. Tolga Ökmen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ekber Sebih made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murat Selim Girgin during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Taslicay's Murat Selim Girgin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. GALATASARAY's Erberk Kutam shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ekber Sebih but with some difficulty. In the 34th minute Derviş Zühtü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayram Saik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Tolga Ökmen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALATASARAY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taslicay the free kick. In the 37th match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolga Ökmen to maneuver through the defense. In the 41stth minute of the game Derviş Zühtü who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GALATASARAY's Bayram Saik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bayram Saik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Derviş Zühtü went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.

An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Derviş Zühtü got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ekber Sebih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alpertunga Kıvılcım in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolga Ökmen in the 61st minute of play forced Taslicay's goalkeeper Ekber Sebih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Önder İmralı threw the ball into play from the sideline. GALATASARAY's Mümtazer Beyazit quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Behiç Abdulhakimoğlu during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Behiç Abdulhakimoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Murat Selim Girgin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taslicay's goalkeeper Ekber Sebih, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alpertunga Kıvılcım might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ekber Sebih. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alpertunga Kıvılcım ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute, Ahmet Erdem Saygılı made a precise shot to the right of Ekber Sebih. Taslicay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. 78 minutes into the game, GALATASARAY's Tolga Ökmen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ekber Sebih made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Derviş Zühtü stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bayram Saik came out of the goal and Derviş Zühtü tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İsmail Cem Orun in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bayram Saik, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 88th minute, İsmail Cem Orun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Taslicay booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mümtazer Beyazit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ekber Sebih came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by GALATASARAY's Tolga Ökmen. But to his dismay, Tolga Ökmen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Taslicay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
