Genç Trakya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mahir Seyran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birol Hazer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akay Sümer in the 19th minute of play. Akay Sümer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birol Hazer having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akay Sümer in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birol Hazer saved Unkapani from getting behind. Akay Sümer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birol Hazer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akay Sümer's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Ahmet Asım Torkal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Buğrahan Samet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genç Trakya's Mahir Seyran got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Birol Hazer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahir Seyran in the 42nd minute of play. Birol Hazer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akay Sümer in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Unkapani got a freekick which was hit by Rafet Erdemer. In the 46th minute Akay Sümer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birol Hazer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Akay Sümer to make the kick off. Unkapani's Birol Hazer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Unkapani from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Genç Trakya's Akay Sümer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Birol Hazer. Birol Hazer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Genç Trakya played a much better game than Unkapani and deserved their victory. The Unkapani players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
