Unkapani's Birol Hazer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihan Seccac in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, ERGÜL SPOR FK.'s Tekin Işın got control of the ball when Selçuk Nejat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nazım Mertel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birol Hazer having to interfere. ERGÜL SPOR FK.'s Tekin Işın proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save ERGÜL SPOR FK. from getting a goal against them. Nazım Mertel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cihan Seccac in the 25th minute of play forced Unkapani's goalkeeper Birol Hazer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tekin Işın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göksel Sulasi in the 28th minute of the match. Tekin Işın made an important save on a dangerous shot by Selçuk Nejat in the 30th minute. ERGÜL SPOR FK.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Göksel Sulasi scored to the left of an out of position Tekin Işın, making the score, 1-0. Birol Hazer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cihan Seccac went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of ERGÜL SPOR FK. booed when Unkapani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilgaz Hafızoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cihan Seccac to make the kick off. Birol Hazer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nazım Mertel in the 62nd minute. When Göksel Sulasi came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Unkapani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göksel Sulasi couldn't finish the play. Göksel Sulasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Mustafa Ali Tümenbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Unkapani's zone, Nazım Mertel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birol Hazer came out of the goal and Nazım Mertel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cihan Seccac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Birol Hazer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Göksel Sulasi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tekin Işın read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Cihan Seccac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Emre Taygar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birol Hazer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Nazım Mertel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cihan Seccac in the 100th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birol Hazer saved Unkapani from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ERGÜL SPOR FK. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
