When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kunter İslam made a kick off. A collision led to Straniia SK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Rıdvan Akel hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Kunter İslam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özgün Canal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. One of Kofcaz SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Straniia SK:s goal. When Kubat Taşcan came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Straniia SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kubat Taşcan couldn't finish the play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Straniia SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
