Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Çetin Durul started the match with the kick off. Özkan Özgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Dölek having to interfere. Sandikli's Nuratay Acunman got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giray Metin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Dölek having to interfere. Sandikli's Bahadırhan Hicab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çetin Durul in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Özkan Özgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuddusî Dölek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Sandikli's goal looked a bit too open when Çetin Durul came free, but Bahadırhan Hicab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Bilge Kağan Uygar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandikli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gençlik the free kick. In the 25th minute, Semih İspinoz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sandikli's Bahadırhan Hicab didn't even have to move. Gaffar Şevket hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sandikli's zone, Çetin Durul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahadırhan Hicab came out of the goal and Çetin Durul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fahri Kutyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaffar Şevket's late challenge caught a Gençlik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaffar Şevket helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sandikli getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gaffar Şevket hit a great ball. If Fahri Kutyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kuddusî Dölek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özkan Özgan in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özkan Özgan to make the kick off. If Nuratay Acunman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuratay Acunman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. İzzettin Umut's late challenge caught a Sandikli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İzzettin Umut helped the player get up and apologised. 66 minutes into the match, Sandikli's goal looked a bit too open when Çetin Durul came free, but Bahadırhan Hicab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74thth minute of the game Özkan Özgan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gençlik's Kuddusî Dölek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hüsmen Tangun hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Bilge Kağan Uygar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After taking down the ball on Gençlik's corner Ferman Bektaş fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bahadırhan Hicab quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özkan Özgan in the 94th minute of play forced Gençlik's goalkeeper Kuddusî Dölek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandikli walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
