Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) Alaaddin Yazır started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Uluç Payidar kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Gençlik's Hüsmen Tangun suffered a concussion after 4 minutes and had to leave the field. After 4 minutes, Semavi Acartürk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GalataSarayBosna and the Gençlik players grew even worse after the yellow card. Semavi Acartürk scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kuddusî Dölek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Alaaddin Yazır ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kuddusî Dölek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Fahri Kutyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recai Toygun having to interfere. Alaaddin Yazır recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, GalataSarayBosna's Atabek Çelik got a free kick in the 25th minute. Semavi Acartürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Kuddusî Dölek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Gençlik getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. İzzettin Umut hit a great ball. Fahri Kutyan took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Recai Toygun. Recai Toygun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Kuddusî Dölek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Semavi Acartürk in the 42nd minute of the match. Fahri Kutyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Recai Toygun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half GalataSarayBosna were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fahri Kutyan to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uluç Payidar during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to GalataSarayBosna getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Uluç Payidar hit a great ball. Semavi Acartürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Alaaddin Yazır kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kuddusî Dölek. That made the score 1-3 in the 58 minute of play. Fahri Kutyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recai Toygun having to interfere. Uluç Payidar kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Fahri Kutyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kuddusî Dölek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alaaddin Yazır, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Semavi Acartürk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GalataSarayBosna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Semavi Acartürk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of GalataSarayBosna booed when Gençlik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferman Bektaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alaaddin Yazır struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Kuddusî Dölek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GalataSarayBosna. Ferman Bektaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recai Toygun having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, GalataSarayBosna's goal looked a bit too open when Fahri Kutyan came free, but Recai Toygun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fahri Kutyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Gençlik booed when GalataSarayBosna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atabek Çelik didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Çetin Durul got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Recai Toygun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. GalataSarayBosna's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
