After 30 played minutes Tarakli got a freekick which was hit by Sertaç Ulun. Orhan Özender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zühtü Kaptan in the 31st minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zühtü Kaptan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zühtü Kaptan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After 79 minutes of play, Tarakli's Vural Ekin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cihangir İskandil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zühtü Kaptan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Tarakli failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
