Kuddusî Mehdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bilgin Tanaltan came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the eskişehirspor FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bilgin Tanaltan couldn't finish the play. In the 10th match minute, BEŞİKTAŞ JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Haydar Ayıkoğlu to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes BEŞİKTAŞ JK got a freekick which was hit by Nuh Göçmen. Bilgin Tanaltan charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bilgin Tanaltan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, eskişehirspor FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilgin Tanaltan to maneuver through the defense. During the 17th minute of the match Bilgin Tanaltan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bilgin Tanaltan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, eskişehirspor FK's Bilgin Tanaltan got a free kick in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, eskişehirspor FK's goalkeeper Gencer Ekinoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kuddusî Mehdi. Tuğrul Kızılateş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Murat Tufan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murat Tufan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aykut Rahmet in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute Hüseyin Cahit Elmas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencer Ekinoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kuddusî Mehdi got free with Gencer Ekinoğlu in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şeray Cangiray's late challenge caught a eskişehirspor FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şeray Cangiray helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in BEŞİKTAŞ JK's zone, Aykut Rahmet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murat Tufan came out of the goal and Aykut Rahmet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gencer Ekinoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüseyin Cahit Elmas, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hüseyin Cahit Elmas was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Fuat User was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BEŞİKTAŞ JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave eskişehirspor FK the free kick. After 51 played minutes BEŞİKTAŞ JK got a freekick which was hit by Fuat User. After a defensive mix-up in BEŞİKTAŞ JK's zone, Tuğrul Kızılateş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murat Tufan came out of the goal and Tuğrul Kızılateş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BEŞİKTAŞ JK's Murat Tufan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save BEŞİKTAŞ JK from getting a goal against them. Aykut Rahmet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murat Tufan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Başar Devan charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Başar Devan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Başar Devan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to eskişehirspor FK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Recep Talha Özakıncı hit a great ball. BEŞİKTAŞ JK's Nuh Göçmen got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gencer Ekinoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuh Göçmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tuğrul Kızılateş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Başar Devan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Murat Tufan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baybars Cintay hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Aykut Rahmet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Murat Tufan having to make a save. Aykut Rahmet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ahmet Çağrı Dalmaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 92 minutes on the clock, Dorukhan Tansu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of eskişehirspor FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BEŞİKTAŞ JK:s goal. BEŞİKTAŞ JK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
