Derbent SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cenk Özmert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gazanfer Şahsar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cenk Özmert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derbent SK's Sezai Kumanbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Carabulea in the 9th minute of play. Melchor Izquierdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Sezai Kumanbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Eugen Carabulea made a precise shot to the right of Sezai Kumanbay. Derbent SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.
