The penalty shot was made by Mustafa Ali İleri, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Çınaraltı FK's Berker Rıza Musa. 0-1. After the first half Talas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Serdar Argün made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Çınaraltı FK's zone, Ahmet Hakan Akel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berker Rıza Musa came out of the goal and Ahmet Hakan Akel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Timur Mertkal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cenap Baykutay was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Cenap Baykutay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necat Mustafali, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Serdar Argün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Kandemir Erentürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serdar Argün kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Talas. Mustafa Ali İleri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Berker Rıza Musa. 0-2. Çınaraltı FK's Necat Mustafali got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serdar Argün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Berker Rıza Musa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Çınaraltı FK booed when Talas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Korcan Tunçkılıç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berker Rıza Musa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Talas's Ahmet Hakan Akel. But to his dismay, Ahmet Hakan Akel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ahmet Hakan Akel struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Berker Rıza Musa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talas. Necat Mustafali struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Hüseyin Cahit Kırca's late challenge caught a Çınaraltı FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Talas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
