But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savaşer Tanyeri couldn't finish the play. Özer Saban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zafer Rafi in the 24th minute of the match. In the 31st play minute Dilmen Erdemli came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Özer Saban. 1-0. The attack was good, but when Savaşer Tanyeri in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ahmet Necdet Akpınar kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in subaşıspor's zone, Şadi Özgu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yavuz Selim Şanver made a fantastic save in the 100th minute, when Şadi Özgu sent off a good shot on target. subaşıspor succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bayramic had controlled the match.
